GS Eco Solutions works in partnership with Local Authorities and housings to help make the most out of Government funded schemes to make energy saving improvements to fuel poor and vulnerable households. Working with us is a cost effective and simple way for the local authorities to increase their profile among the local residents as active environmental friendly authorities.
With the introduction of LA Flex, the Local Authorities are now in control of defining their own eligibility criteria as per the new ECO3 scheme. This empowers the LA to be able to identify the fuel poor and vulnerable households in their borough and install energy saving measures with the help of our qualified team of assessors.
Properties that are not owned by council (and not on any benefits) are the ones to benefit from LA Flex through the eligibility criteria defined by the council. Through this the
residents will enjoy warmer homes, cheaper bills and support through periods of ill health or financial challenges.
As certified and approved assessors, we work closely with the local authorities to make measurable improvements to a selection of properties in the borough under the new ECO3 Scheme. Most of the energy saving measures such as cavity wall and loft insulation cost the council nothing or very little.
This is a hassle-free and low cost scheme that will benefit residents in terms of health reducing the strain on social services and local health providers. It will also help lower carbon emissions. This scheme also offers replacement of older heating technologies that can improve local air quality and ease off some strain on non-renewable fuel sources.
